        \u2018On \u010cajkovskij\u2019s [Tchaikovsky\u2019s] Psychopathology and Its Relationship with His Creativity\u2019; this talk was a revised and expanded version of the article published in \u2018The Musical Times\u2019: \u2018Tchaikovsky: The Missing Piece of the Jigsaw Puzzle\u2019. The talk was then printed in \u010cajkovskij-Studien <\/em>[Tchaikovsky Studies] (see listing of both journal items, section (c)).<\/p>\n

          The 1998 Festival was entitled: \u2018Tchaikovsky and His World\u2019, and its opening events took place at Annandale-on-Hudson where I was a panelist on a Public Panel discussing:<\/p>\n

          (i)   \u2018Tchaikovsky, the Public and Private Person: Issues of Love and Death\u2019, 15 Aug.
          \n(ii)  \u2018Russian Musical Education and Culture: Defining the Russian Musical Voice\u2019, 16 Aug.
          \n(iii) \u2018Critical Assessment of Tchaikovsky as a Composer\u2019, 22 Aug.<\/p>\n

          The second part of the Festival was in New York City itself, at the Lincoln Center, where I was again a panelist in a Public Panel, on this occasion discussing: \u2018Tchaikovsky and Cultural Politics, Then and Now\u2019, 31 Oct.<\/p>\n
